The music during the intro story was a bit too 'disturbing' and distracting for me. I had a bit of trouble guiding my thoughts around the music to what I am actually reading. It's a great ambiance for a horror game with a focus on atmosphere, but, for me, it was not for reading. The music in the knight's first scene is surprisingly calming and refreshing in contrast to it.
I'm not done yet, but I will leave more notes as they come to mind if any. Make sure to check back for an edit of this post ♥
And here come the edits:
(1) 'OH SHIAT' was my first reaction when I noticed I can move! That is unexpected!
*you had my curiosity, now you have my attention*
(2) EEEEEEEEH MACARENA!

Thanks for playing, and also thanks for the feedback so far! I see what you mean about the intro - at first I thought the track I selected was good for ambiance, but on re-examination it is a bit unsettling and doesn't quite fit the mood I'm trying to set at that point.
I'll be looking forward to more edits ;) hope you enjoy the rest of the game!
I shall continue where I left off
- My fourhundretandtwenty brain just bluescreened upon re-reading the intro. 'Oh never mind' killed me. (that's good 11/10)
- Is the yellow glow beneath the furniture indicating missing textures?
> also seeing some glowing books
- Clicking on a wall (from the hallway) triggers the character to run into the room behind the wall (e.g.: mages room)
> Some time to appreciate the bardcore <
So, I finished and don't think there was anything so outstandingly terrible that it's worth dropping spoilers, so I just say it was really good! You got a great style in your writing. It's spot on, leaves out all unnecessary bs but still fills a bunch of pages and keeps me hooked. I love the 'clean slang' and straightforward characteristic throughout all dialogues.
I will jump right into the next game of yours, I really like the way you've written this - a lot. Hope to find more of this in your other games, and I am really curious to eventually see progress and improvement throughout the games :)

-The yellow glow on some objects appeared because I messed up the lightmapping somehow (still learning how to do it correctly), and since baking the lights takes a lot of time and I was already a couple days late with the submission, I decided to let them pass for now but I need to fix that for sure.
-Thanks for the tip on the Mage's room! Walls usually block clicks so you don't target the floor behind them but I remember messing up that door in particular when merging the room's walls. This is pretty easy to fix but I totally missed it when doing my final testing.
Thank you very much on the feedback on my writing! I'm glad you like my style, I've been trying to improve at getting out of my own head when writing characters as to not have them all sound like myself (definitely a lot of work and practice left in that front) so it's very reassuring to know that, despite that, at least my writing can still be engaging.
Once again, thanks for playing! And I hope to hear from you again when I release the next one :D
Will patiently be waiting for it!
I finally know now who your style reminds me of

Watched a couple of videos and he seems pretty fun and interesting, looks like I'm going to have to try and keep up with that comparison 8)
Seriously though, I'm very glad you enoyed my style enough that you actually thought about it and what it reminds you of, it's nice to be seen :)
This is incredible
Thanks for playing, glad you think so!
